Industrial & logistics sites

When a truck arrives on site, is driver check-in still done by hand?

We automate driver check-in and access control with a custom software and AI layer, plugged into what you already have. Less waiting at the gate, full traceability, a front desk that can breathe.

The reality

Manual driver reception
costs more than it seems.

Paper logbook, radio calls to the forklift driver, back-and-forth to the gatehouse: multiply every lost minute by the number of trucks per day, and reception becomes a bottleneck that weighs on the whole site.

Trucks kept waiting

Queues at the gate during peak hours, impatient drivers, dock slots slipping: the delay spreads through the whole chain.

A person tied up

The front desk or a forklift driver is interrupted at every arrival to check, register, guide. Hours every week that produce nothing.

Fragile traceability

Paper log or spreadsheet: who entered, when, for which order? When an audit or incident comes, reconstruction is painful.

Errors and risks

Wrong dock, wrong reference, uncontrolled access: every manual error costs time, and some cost much more.

What we install

A software and AI layer
that plugs into your existing setup.

No overhaul, no rip-and-replace: we connect driver check-in to the tools and equipment you already have in place.

  1. 01

    Self-service driver check-in

At a kiosk, via QR code or on mobile: the driver checks in on their own, in their language, without tying up your front desk.

  2. 02

    Automatic verification

Order number, carrier, licence plate: the AI checks consistency against your data (TMS, ERP, dock schedule) before granting access.

  3. 03

    Automated access control

Hangar doors, barriers, access systems: opening is triggered automatically when everything checks out.

  4. 04

The right info to the right team

The relevant forklift driver or dock is notified on arrival: no more radio calls or back-and-forth.

  5. 05

    Full traceability

Every passage is time-stamped and logged: you know who is on site, in real time and after the fact.

  6. Compatible with your existing setup: TMS, ERP, scheduling and access-control hardware already in place.

A 100% software layer, scoped and delivered remotely. On-site presence remains possible when the project requires it.

Founding case

Automated hangar-door opening

For an industrial logistics environment, we designed the automated control of hangar-door opening on vehicle arrival: detection, verification, triggering, logging. That field-proven system is what we now replicate for driver reception.

Experience

A real-time verification platform for the US cold chain

In a previous venture, our team designed a verification platform for American cold chain operations: existing cameras, sensors and WMS / TMS / YMS systems connected into a single software layer, verifying identity, temperature and compliance at every checkpoint, with time-stamped, audit-ready traceability. Zero new hardware required. That is exactly the architecture we deploy for your driver reception.

And our AI systems already run in demanding physical environments:

24/7
AI livestock monitoring: continuous cameras and sensors (TellCozy)
-70%
Audit time on thermal diagnosis of buildings (IDELE)

How we start

A short pilot,
not a pharaonic project.

  1. 01

    Flow diagnosis

A video call with your site plans and volumes: we map a truck's journey through your site and put a number together on what manual reception costs you.

  2. 02

    Pilot on one site

A short scope on a volunteer site: check-in and access control run in real conditions within weeks, not months.

  3. 03

    Rollout

Once the pilot is validated, we extend to other flows and other sites, with your teams trained and full documentation.

Frequent questions

What we often get asked.

Do we need to replace our hardware (barriers, doors, badge readers)?

No. We drive your existing equipment whenever it can be driven, and rely on market standards otherwise. We sell the software layer; if hardware is missing, we point you to partners.

How does it integrate with our TMS / ERP?

Via APIs or connectors, depending on your tools. The flow diagnosis pinpoints the integration points before any commitment.

Do you work remotely?

Yes: scoping, development and go-live happen remotely, with your on-site teams as relays. A one-off visit is planned when the project requires it.

How long for a pilot?

A short scope goes to production within weeks. The precise timeline is put in writing at the end of the diagnosis.

What about the data?

Hosted in Europe, GDPR compliant, and you remain the owner of the code, the access and the data. That's a MERZA principle, not an option.

How much is manual driver reception costing you?

15 minutes to map your arrival flow and see whether a pilot makes sense for you. No commitment, no jargon.
